You can hate on Katy for some of the cringey crap she’s done lately but you can’t hate her as a person. As annoying as her music is, she’s actually proven to be a genuine and encouraging woman. She encourages Lana Del Rey and Iggy Azalea, she helped Auora gain notoriety and a larger fan base, and here she is with Florence Welch, who looks a damn mess and seems a bit down in the dumps, but you can see Katy is keeping the energy positive by being humorous and trying to cheer Florence up in a way. She even compared her to Patti Smith and Kate Bush and called her a gentle soul. Who wouldn’t want that?
